With a deep passion for knowledge, Dr. Urban A. Kiernan has been emersed in the life sciences for 25 years. With a Ph.D. in Bio-Analytical Chemistry, Dr. Kiernan launched his career in the early 2000’s in the areas of proteomics, diagnostics and biomarker discovery.Even though he became a globally recognized thought leader in his field; with multiple per reviewed publications, issued patents, as the author of 4 book chapters and global lecturer, personal tragedy with the death of his first wife due to cancer drove him on an evolutionary journey into the immense world of drug discovery. Now, as the Founder, Chairman and CEO of iMetabolic Biopharma Corporation (iMBP), he is leading a new wave in TechBio through the development of multiple innovative drug candidates for diseases plaguing America, as well a proprietary AI computational technology platform to aid in the engineering of these drugs to make them safer, more effective and at a lower cost.  

On this new mission Dr, Kiernan is devoting himself to helping others.  As a family man he believes that our legacies should be through this mindset, but this journey begins within ourselves.  He is a staunch believer that we each need to invest time and effort in developing a strong mind, body and spirit.  He embraces this to his core and even though he is the founder of a drug company he is committed to never becoming a customer.
